TTD’s new life sized sea eagle

Maverick industries has just completed its first life sized sea eagle.

This one is based on the common white bellied sea eagle commonly seen in the Eurobodalla.

This particular bird has hand formed wings; mig welded; hammered; dollied; and painted in rust preventative/clear over paint usual panel beating stuff.

The body is a mix of new and recycled steel.

It also features mother of pearl fish and beak hand-formed from the poachers’ middens on Tomakin Hill.

This bird can be flown from a pole or mounted from a balcony as I have done.
